Blue Creek Cottage is a 2 bedroom 1 bath getaway cottage nestled on 1 acre in the heart of Black Mountain, NC.
The cottage is located on a private acre surrounded by trees, tasteful landscaping and a flowing creek on 3 sides. As you drive down the newly graveled driveway you will see the cottage tucked into the landscape as the sun breaks through the canopy of walnut trees. You'll notice the massive outdoor stone fireplace, perfect for keeping warm or roasting marshmallows. The property has a winding flagstone pathway around the house to the viewing porch. There is also a door in the primary bedroom to access the fenced in side yard. The furnished flagstone porch right outside the french doors is flanked by the creek. This is a great spot to start your morning and take in the nature as you listen to the water cascade by.
Inside you'll feel cozy and at home relaxing by the electric fireplace. Curl up on the large sectional sofa and watch a blockbuster on the 65" 4K smart TV with sound system. Maybe choose from the eclectic vinyl collection and spin some tunes on the Victrola or maybe play some retro video games. Make yourself a latte at the coffee bar or an entire meal in the spacious kitchen. The home features a spa like bathroom with an enormous walk-in shower. The primary bedroom boasts a king size bed and a hotel quality Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress. Plus there's a 4k Smart TV to stream whatever you're binging. The second bedroom sleeps 3 with a full size hotel quality Zinus Green Tea memory foam day bed and trundle bed. There's also a fold down desk for arts & crafts or if there's some unfortunate remote working to do.
You will feel as though you're deep in the forest, yet you're only a 3 minute drive to Black Mountain's historic downtown square full of shopping and dining opportunities.
Around the corner, take a walk past the pickle ball and tennis courts of Creekside Racquet Club and explore the quaint Cheshire Village and the beautifully landscaped walkable grounds.
It's only short 13 minute drive to Asheville from Blue Creek Cottage, where you can live like a local with some of our recommendations.
